You'll find our charming and sweet jungle hideaway is a relaxing slice of paradise. Surrounded by gardens of papaya, lime, orchids, flowers green lush mountains - cool and fresh, peaceful and sweet. You will have a queen size orthopedic bed, a kitchenette (no stove, no TV), coffee maker, microwave, gas grill on the front porch, fridge, dishware, glassware, cookware, paper towel and a cooking essentials pantry for you. The bathroom has a shower, all towels, shampoos, handmade soaps, and pure mountain spring water. And as you sleep you will hear nature sounds - the river, 30 feet from the cottage door, running by, and little waterfall, lovely rain forest birds, many of them nesting nearby. And the Coqui, of course! You can use the fishing poles and fish for the river bass. We offer the utmost in privacy and peace. But that's not all. Nearby are the Camuy Caves, Arecibo Observatory, San Pedro Coffee Hacienda, Largo Dos Bocas restaurants, and Batey Zipline Adventures, and national forest hiking. There is a hotel across the street with restaurant and bar. Many eating/drinking stops along the roadside for traditional Puerto Rican foods, inexpensive and totally delish. Sound simple? The Jungle Lodge is an hour and a half from San Juan, Aguadilla or Pobce airports. We send directions upon reservation.
