After more than 15 years, Puerto Rico will now have a direct connecting flight from Puerto Rico to Mexico, the Puerto Rico Tourism Comapanny announced today.
Flights connecting from San Juan to Canc?n, Mexico will be furnished by Volaris, a newcomer airline that will offer continued service between the two cities starting july 2nd of this year.
The last flights between Mexico and Puerto Rico ended in 1999, when Mexicana de Aviaci?n ended their routes to the Caribbean country.
Flights will start at $129 for the initial offer, and the flight route is expected to produce $10 million in revenue for the Island.
