Julio Enrique Monagas National Park

Passive recreation park, located on the heart of the karst zone of Puerto Rico

During the Second World War it was known as the Buchanan Powder house, on which the army stored ammo and powder. It was officially inagurated in 1993 during the Centroamerican and Caribbean Games. It has natural trails, a pony ride, and picnic areas for rent at $25 each per day. There are also multiple use rooms for rent and play areas for the children.
