Culebra Full Day Snorkeling and Buffet 9:30 am – 4:00 pm Snorkel/Buffet Upon departing marina Puerto del Rey, the bar is opened while our guests enjoy the beautiful views of the Cordillera Islands. After about 40 minutes on our high-speed catamaran we arrive at one of Culebra’s beautiful reefs and anchor for an hour and a half of snorkeling. We then move on to the north side of Culebra where the captain decides which of the two beach areas, Flamenco or Culebrita will be the best to enjoy lunch and spend the rest of the afternoon. At either location after a short swim into the beach, there is more snorkeling available. Lunch is served at approximately 12:30pm, and we depart Culebra around 3:15 pm, returning to the marina at 4:00pm. Quality snorkeling equipment and instruction is offered onboard. Guests should bring their own towels, and wear light clothing over a swimsuit. Underwater cameras and sunscreen are available for sale onboard. All included Lunch Buffet includes: Fresh fruit, freshly baked bread (pan de agua), sliced meats (turkey, ham, and pastrami or salami), sliced cheeses, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, gourmet pasta salad, seafood or tuna salad, coleslaw or bean salad, chips, cookies. Beverages: Piña Colada, Rum Punch, sodas, iced tea and juices. Beers are available at $2.00 each.

How to Get There

From Isla Verde or Condado, (through Carolina)-Take rte. 26 south/east to highway to NEW ROUTE 66 EAST (Toll road $1.50). - At end of Rte 66 – (traffic lights by The Outlet Mall), take RIGHT on route 3 east. - Follow rte. 3 east out to Fajardo, go straight through all 8 stoplights in Fajardo. (1st one has Video Ave. on left & Blockbuster on right). - STAY on the highway, Don’t turn at any traffic lights. Approximately 1 mile past town of Fajardo, Rte. 3 will become Hwy. 53. - Stay on 53 about a mile, then take first highway exit (“salida 2”) to right that says “Puerto del Rey “3” (and “Demajagua”). - At the bottom of the exit, turn left to go under highway, and follow that road (old rte. 3) about 1 mile, through 2 stoplights. It will bend to the right and Puerto del Rey marina will be on the left, the largest marina in the Caribbean with secure parking, shops & restaurants. Turn left into Marina, left again after guardhouse and then follow the white signs “East Island Excursions” towards the waterfront. Drive through the parking lot, pass the plaza (with dolphin water fountain on your right), parking is on the grassy lot to the left across from the waterfront.
