Expediciones Palenque is tailor made for nature and culture lovers. We represent the tribe from the great beyond, the one that comes from the past and does not know the limits. Our guides are educated Puerto Rican men and women who are committed to their outdoors lifestyle: rock climbing, rappelling, canyoneering, hiking, spelunking, kayaking... With us, you will get to know the island of Borikén above ground and underground, by walking or swimming in its rivers or immersing yourself in its caves, rowing in its lakes, rappelling some waterfall, climbing some wall, or even jumping into the air riding a pendulum. We also understand those who wish to climb a mountain on their own power, enjoy the many sceneries of our island, or enjoy a traditional Puerto Rican meal or a freshly brewed cup of coffee. We promise you a magical and intense day at the rhythm of your footsteps, complemented by talks on different topics that relate to our trip: anthropology and history, geology, geography, flora, fauna and conservation. For those that are looking for an extreme experience, you will find that at the end of a day you will have surpassed the limits of fear and possibilities, in complete ecstasy with the greenness of Borikén. Our main concern is safety and respect for Mother Nature for guiding and educating our steps. Each one of our trips will be made according to the needs and wishes of the group. We have planned almost all trips with a nutritional and succulent lunch prepared by ourselves, which is offered as an option. Taking good taste to remote areas is one of our specialties.
