Plaza del Norte is a regional shopping mall located Hatillo, Puerto Rico. It is the largest shopping center in the northwest of Puerto Rico, and the main shopping center in Aguadilla and Arecibo regions, followed by Aguadilla Mall, Plaza del Atlantico in Arecibo, and Puerto Rico Prime Outlets in Barceloneta.

Plaza del Norte is a 671,278 square foot regional enclosed mall located on Highway 2 approximately 40 miles west of San Juan, in Hatillo, along Puerto Rico's picturesque north coast. Plaza del Norte, which is anchored by JCPenney, Sears, Toys "R" Us and Walmart, is the dominant shopping center in the trade area, due to its size and prominent location. The tenant mix within the balance of the shopping center features a food court, restaurants and a selection of specailty stores, including Champs Sports, Gordon's Jewelers, Foot Locker, Kids Foot Locker, Kress, Marianne/Marianne Plus, Motherhood Maternity, Pacific Sunwear, Payless ShoeSource, Rave, Zales Jewelers and 5-7-9, which all combine to generate very strong sales results. Within ten miles of the shopping center, more than 172,400 people reside with an average household income in excess of $39,900. However, the shopping center's trade area demographics are somewhat skewed due to Plaza del Norte's close proximity to the island's north coast. Plaza del Norte is located less than one mile west of Plaza del Atlántico, a 222,953 square foot enclosed mall, which is also owned by Developers Diversified, further ensuring DDR's dominance in the trade area.
