"A local piece of paradise..."

asa Montemar has become my second home while on vacations to Puerto Rico. In fact it’s the ONLY place I’ve stayed at for four years. It’s the local feeling that keeps me coming back. My favorite things include: sitting in the front yard early morning and late afternoon watching the farmer meander about doing chores; greeting neighbor Tito as he rides by on horseback for his daily trip to the beach; reading in the gazebo; strolling to the isolated beach to beach comb; napping in a cool, dark bedroom; grilling outdoors; watching hummingbirds dart about while horses and cows graze lazily; and, making early morning trips to the bakery for fresh baked bread and local coffee. Days develop slowly and new experiences greet you. Everything you need is provided at Casa Montemar including beach supplies. Jobos Beach and the Blue Hole are nearby for swimming , snorkeling or surfing. Local restaurants are nearby and offer a variety of wonderful dishes. Make friends, explore the area, and become part of the local living by staying at Casa Montemar. A perfect place for couples or families. …
