My wife and I went to Puerto Rico for our anniversary a couple years ago. This was my favorite location of the trip, which included a deluxe hotel in San Juan and a trip to Culebra).
Laying in the cottage at night and listening to the Coqui sing all around us was heavenly.
An added bonus was finding ripe Passion fruit in the jungle behind the cottage. Fresh juice on the cottage while we watched the kittens chase each other made for a wonderful morning. |

My husband and I were truly blessed to have encountered this cottage while researching accomodations in Puerto Rico that were "off the beaten path". Janes Jungle Lodge was everything the description said it would be and more! We were greeted by two white horses! The owner is so down to earth and accomodating you could sit and talk with her for hours. Not to mention that she truly loves her guests and will do everything to make your stay wonderful. Additionally, you truly get to experience nature while staying in this comfy, cozy cottage in the middle of the Central mountains of Puerto Rico. I loved the winding roads, rolling green hills, bamboo trees, riverpools, and school buses made into restaurants scattered amongstthe area. The adventurist spirited would be well advised to map out attractions in the area and plan your days accordingly as there are quite a few "must-sees" relatively nearby this cottage. Whatever each day has in store for you I guarantee you will love returning back to the cottage for a tranquil and relaxing evening. I've been to Puerto Rico dozens of times, however, this last trip was unforgettable. Thank You "Jungle Jane"! If Puerto Rico has a special place in your heart this cabin is for you. |

I'm so glad we choose the Jungle Jane Jungle Lodge for our vacations. This place is so beautifull and relaxing you don't want to leave ever! Host Marlene is such a wonderful person that is always there for you, for everything you need. We highly, highly reccommended it!!! |

Absolutely breathtaking. The property is very tropical with all the trees and the stream running through it with a waterfall. The owner is absolutely wonderful. Have been going back to this place for many years and will continue with visits in the years to come. |

It is the most beautiful and enchanting place to be. I highly recommend it. It is impossible not to be in this magical place in Utuado when visiting Puerto Rico, and even for those like me who live in the island, is the best place to escape for relaxation in connection with nature. |

The proprietor is extremely helpful and has all the info you need for a wonderful time while in Puerto Rico. She also has stunning Paso Fino horses, who's beauty grace her property. June Jane's is located in Utauado, nestled next to a mountain stream. If you really want to enjoy the true spirit of Puerto Rico, then this is the place you need to stay. We plan to return in March. |

The proprietor goes out of her way to make sure you have everything you need to make your stay perfect. She is very informative about the island and things to do while you visit. She is a great hostess and we look forward to seeing her again this coming March. We wouldn't stay anywhere else. We love the natural rain-forest surroundings. |

I had the dubious opportunity to stumble across this hidden paradise. From the moment of inquiry, Marlene and I maintained constant email communication. She arranged my airport transportation to get to the cottage. She is A+++
And when I arrived, it was more than what I imagined. I was in the middle of a rainforest. The nights were my favorite times; the Coqui's would sing me to sleep, the rainfall would add a touch of rhythm, and the nearby waterfall would soothe me into no tomorrow--actually, soothe me into tomorrow. Everything worked; from fridge, cooking devices, showers, hot water, etc.
This is a must if you want history, relaxation, magic, and a one on one with you and Mother Nature. |
